....Over to Garrison Locks Director - Richard Breslin.

As specialist auto locksmiths we design, manufacture and install secondary lock systems to virtually all vans and many makes and models of Trucks. We were of course happy to be the first point of contact when Racing Engineering chose Garrison to secure the support truck for the GP Racing team. We were working on a very tight time scale as RE are only here for a few days then off to Germany, Hungary then Belgium and so on...... for I guess' more racing?

Upon arrival Richard was greeted with shouts of "Championas" as the Spanish racing team were still celebrating their world cup success. They were a very happy bunch said Richard of Garrison Locks.

On the left here is Garrison Fitter Richard Breslin standing by RE #07 Race car as it was being stripped down for a post race service.

Richard was shown the cars heart and soul a Renault 3.4 litre engine. He was also allowed to handle the steering wheel and other parts of the car and experience what many only dream of.

Richard Breslin said: It really was an amazing experience and a dream come true to be right in the pits of a racing car team, I was blown away with the hospitality of the RE Team, Thanks Guys !

After a day fitting the lock system Richard was treated to a strong coffee and told to put his fingers in his ears!!

A few moments later the technician started car #07 and revved it half way for a test. Now that was loud said Richard !

Garrison Locks completed the job in time with a very happy customer indeed.
